​Reports suggest that Metallica is in advanced talks to launch a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere in fall 2026. While nothing is official yet, if confirmed, it would add Metallica to a roster alongside U2, Phish, and Dead & Company at the city’s most futuristic stage.

Alien Music Festival

​The Mega Extraterrestrial Fest V is slated for Las Vegas in 2027, billed as the first “extraterrestrial global brand.” Produced by Lucas Piña’s 360 Worldwide Entertainment in partnership with MGM Resorts, PRG, Sony Music, and Weta Workshop, the festival promises a three-day multisensory experience featuring augmented reality, holograms, original characters, and state-of-the-art production.

Hogs & Heifers New Location

​After closing its 20-year spot on 3rd Street in July 2025, Hogs & Heifers Saloon has secured a new downtown address at 307–319 Main Street (the parcel once home to the Little Hotel Rooming House). Owner Michelle Dell says that moving into an owned property gives the brand geographic and financial stability, with a return anticipated by December 2025.

90’s Station

​Catch 90’s Station on the Main Street Stage for the free Downtown Rocks concert series with era-specific flair from Britney, Gwen Stefani, Blink-182, TLC and more, all performed live in nostalgia-heavy costumes by one of Fremont’s locals’ favorites. Their energetic tribute to ’90s pop and alt hits is a crowd-magnet during summer evenings downtown.

Funk Fever
